Post-Doctoral Research: Measurements of the Total Photoabsorption Cross Section

método experimental: photohadronic
detectors:  NaI as spectrometer of hadrons, lead-glass as beam monitor
beam: tagger photons between 0,5 and 2,6 GeV
nucleus:  C, Al, Cu, Sn and Pb
laboratory:  Saphir Room - Bonn University
other instruments:  Geant package and PAW for simulation and analysis of  the experiment
main results: : These are the first experimental data of the total  nuclear photoabsorption cross section in the region between nucleonic resonances and 2 GeV, and together with the data of Frascati (see research of the period of PhD) completes the set of measurements of total cross section that cover the range between the pion photoproduction threshold and 2 GeV, where did not exist experimental data. This allows, among others things, to verify the behavior of the photoabsortion cross section in the threshold of the shadowing effect, and to make accurate dispersion analysis of the total photoabsorption cross section (see description).
Commentaries: Finished.
